For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
About the Pastor
My name is Pastor Paul Strano, I am a former Roman Catholic who has been saved by the mercy and grace of God for 35 years. I wish I could say that thru this time I have walked a perfect steady walk, but I honestly can’t. I have stumbled, backslid, and fallen more times than I would like to admit. I mention this for two reasons:
(1) When I have been unfaithful, I have found God to remain merciful and faithful to me because that is part of His holy character. He has always drawn me back to Him with the cords of His amazing love.
(2) I understand how merciful God has been to me (He didn’t have to show me mercy and could have let me perish in my sins.) Therefore, I am compelled with a heart of gratitude to share, along with our church, the love, compassion, mercy, and grace
that God has richly bestowed upon us all. We as one body, in the unity of Christ Jesus The Lord, hold out our hand to those who don’t know Jesus as well as to those who once served Him but now have drifted away. We are here to offer His hope to those who feel they are in a hopeless situation, as well as to offer His encouragement to those who feel that they can’t go any further as they try to weather a vicious storm in their lives. We want all to know that God truly is good, and that He has a plan for your life.
Jeremiah 29:11 sums up Gods feelings on this:
“I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Come with us on this life-long journey to truly KNOW Jesus as our forgiving savior, always faithful friend, and of course The Lord of our lives. Lets walk together as we do as the apostle Paul exhorts us: “To press on to the mark of the high calling we have in Christ Jesus”
